See additional fascinating sky views at:A big, booming, afternoon thunderstorm passed through my area the other day...followed by a brief break in the clouds...just enough to let in some bright sunshine. The results, of course, was one of the biggest, brightest, most colorful rainbows I've ever seen. These photos don't really show how brilliant the colors were, but I'm glad I snapped a few quick photos before it disappeared.

Beautiful - I just love rainbows. A few weeks ago I saw one that stretched from one side of the ground to the other. It was a breathtaking experience to say the least :)
