SkyWatch Friday

Good Morning and Happy New Year! I live in northern Utah County, (south of Salt Lake County) in Utah, USA. Utah County is a high desert valley surrounded by the Wasatch Mountains to the east, and the Oquirrh mountains to the west http://www.infoplease.com/ce6/us/A0861730.html

We've had a lot of snow the last month, piling up high in the surrounding mountains. This morning, I captured a couple of pretty mountain shots...all snowy and frozen highlighted by the rising sun.

  1. Hi and thank you for commenting on my blog. You're in Utah? I'm jealous...I'm also jealous of those bloggers living in Arizona! These are just beautiful...I can feel the cold...the colors on your second pic are amazing! :o)

  3. Very pretty. Did you leave your site on the SkyWatch list? That way more people will stop by. It's a good way to get people--including teachers--to check out your blog.

  4. Absolutely gorgeous captures and views. Yet I can live without all the snow.

    Welcome to 2009!
