I recently visited the WWII Monument in Washington, D.C....
Beautiful, inspiring, HUGE, monument located on the mall
half-way between the Washington and Lincoln Monuments.
This monument is a reverent and respectful place. It
painfully reminds of the past, but looks skyward to a
better future made possible by those who sacrificed
their lives to help end WWII.
